Marino Okazaki, a current Sapporo resident, was born in 1988 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. She graduated in 2007 from Hokkaido Sapporo Minami High School, and has since gained a national reputation as an artist. Ms. Okazaki has won numerous awards in open-call competitions, and her works have been featured in group exhibits nationwide. Additionally, she has held solo exhibits at Fukusumi Station Metro Gallery and Gallery Monma Annex, both in Hokkaido. Ms. Okazaki is an increasingly sought after young, female contemporary artist in Japan.
